Helen (Life Links Project Leader)
My role is to make sure the Life Links project succeeds – as simple as that! From ensuring we have a robust infrastructure in place, to planning and rolling out a relentless awareness raising campaign, to putting in place evaluation so we can demonstrate the benefit we have to individual and the overall health and care economies. I have 20 years experience of working for various public and private sector organisations in marketing, project management and public engagement roles.
Helen (Life Links Advisor)
My role as the advisor for Life Links Cheshire East is mostly office-based, though I sometimes attend events and meetings on behalf of Life Links.
A lot of what I do involves talking to people who want to refer into Life Links and professionals who are interested in finding out more, I am responsible for taking new referrals details and safely and securely transmitting the information to our coordinators. Managing various marketing and communications such as; updating social media pages, and managing the newsletter, reporting statistics to our commissioner and over seers.
I love every aspect of my role because its so varied. I especially love talking to our customers and helping them get the advice and help they need. The team is fantastic and I am lucky to be involved in such a brilliant project.

Mike (Wellbeing Coordinator)
I am one of the wellbeing coordinators covering the South of Cheshire East. Prior to joining Lifelinks, I was involved with a Carers charity as a re-ablement worker for Carers at risk of crisis and also organising and delivering training for Carers. Most of my career has been within manufacturing and engineering, but more recently, personal experiences around dementia and mental health issues, led to a major career rethink and joining the charity / third sector.
I am very passionate about supporting people who are struggling to find their way through the health and social care service minefield. I have a particular interest in the fields of dementia and living well dying well, and am a Dementia Friends Champion as well as a living well dying well ambassador.
Outside of work I enjoy long weekends away, walking, football, rugby league and live entertainment. I am a volunteer with the National Trust and love visiting their various sites.
